Kia ora! I’m a filmmaker and teacher based in Wellington. I’ve lived in other countries – mainly Europe – so while Aotearoa New Zealand is home, there’s a piece of me in other places too. My work has been in making, but also helping others make. I’ve (mainly) produced narrative and factual work, as well as directing short-form (music videos and factual), and writing. In parallel I’ve been a formal and informal teacher and mentor, most recently at Massey University in the College of Creative Arts screen programme. Being part of a society’s storytelling cohort – whether as a maker or supporting other makers – is an amazing privilege.
