Abandon Ship

 

Produced with writer/director Katherine McRae’s Twist Productions, the short film Abandon Ship is a love letter to Wellington’s south coast starring Sophie Hambleton, adapted from a story by Kirsten McDougall. Hambleton plays a mother who, after a hellish day, sets off with her young boys on a mission of discovery around Wellington's south coast. The film was screened at several international film festivals, including Toronto's TIFF Kids International Film Festival.
