Crazy Girlfriend

This beautiful project was a partnership between singer/songwriter Marianne Leigh, cinematographer Jenna Eriksen and a group of Massey University students. The all-female crew (OK, apart from Jeremy) made for an extraordinary spirit of collaboration.

The concept was devised collaboratively and sought to explore how identity and power can be expressed in costume, with the simple set composed of curtains and mirrors to give another layer to the question of identity.

The video was launched with cast, crew and friends at the Vogelmorn Bowling Club featuring a performance by Marianne, as well as Emily Ardern (part of the CGf camera team) who presented her own new single and video for Unexpected Feeling.
