This wonderful project was a repeat collaboration with Auckland- (and latterly London-)based singer/songwriter Marianne Leigh following “Crazy Girlfriend”, along with Emma Duncan, Kate Chu, Ashlee Stevens and Elizabeth Hodgson.

This time around we chose a narrative-based, character-centred story. Marianne appeared as a ‘narrator’ alongside our amazing cast of Kate Laidler and Isha Ramita who played close friends experiencing a rift in their friendship, and Lochlans Stevens.

Our format was inspired by Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well” video/short film, in that we told a story and had some scenes with sync dialogue partway through while the song was ‘paused.’
