Following the success of I’m Going to Mum’s, the team reunited for Lauren Jackson’s second short film. Set in the Tongan world of South Auckland, Tree takes a similar approach of depicting a serious subject with an entertaining treatment, while being rigorously grounded in research and consultation with community members to ensure authenticity.
